A 24-year-old woman, Nazmeen Sulde, a popular content creator with over 1 million subscribers on YouTube and 850,000 followers on Instagram, has been in trouble with the law after a video of her performing the “Aura Farming Dance” on the bonnet of a moving Mercedes-Benz car in Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, went viral.

The Incident

The video shows Sulde dancing barefoot on the moving car, driven by her boyfriend, Al-fesh Shaikh. The stunt has raised serious safety concerns, endangering Sulde and other commuters. The police have taken action, using CCTV footage to track the car and identify the owner.

Police Action

  • FIR Filed: A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed against Sulde and Shaikh under the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita and the Motor Vehicles Act.
  • Detention: Both Sulde and Shaikh were taken to the police station, where they spent several hours.

Sulde’s Statement

In an Instagram story, Sulde shared her experience, saying, “We’ve been taken to the police station last night. Around 7 policemen came to our house and took us to the police station. We spent 5 hours in the police station. They filed an FIR, 8 sections, a case and whatnot… Feeling really scared, alone, and traumatised.”
