Ashwini Vaishnaw is Appointed as Information and Broadcasting Minister

In New Delhi, Ashwini Vaishnaw assumes leadership as the Minister of Information and Broadcasting. Today, Ashwini Vaishnaw took over as New Delhi’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting.
Vaishnaw was greeted by the Secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Sanjay Jaju, and the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Dr. L. Murugan. Speaking with the media shortly after taking over, Mr. Vaishnaw stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again been endorsed by the people to lead the nation.
Today, Dr. S. Jaishankar, the Minister of External Affairs, expressed confidence in the success of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Modi 3.0 foreign policy.
Following his assumption of office this morning, Dr. Jaishankar spoke with the media and declared that the two pillars of Indian foreign policy would be Bharat First and Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam.
According to him, India’s influence has been continuously increasing, and other nations now view India as a true friend that supports them during difficult times. He voiced the opinion that India’s profile in the world will undoubtedly rise under Mr. Modi’s leadership.
Regarding India’s five-year relationship with China and Pakistan, the External Affairs Minister stated that the world will perceive India as having great political stability since a government that has won three consecutive elections is a very major deal. S. Jaishankar continued by saying that in terms of Pakistan and China, the main goals would be to resolve border disputes with both nations. India would also like to resolve the issue of cross-border terrorism in Pakistan.
It is a privilege, according to Dr. Jaishankar, to be tasked with heading the Ministry of External Affairs once more. He claimed that this Ministry did remarkably well during the G20 chairmanship and COVID during the previous administration. He said that key operations like Operation Ganga and Operation Kaveri were centered at his Ministry. He continued by saying that this ministry, led by Prime Minister Modi, has evolved into one of the best ministries that has been heavily focused on people for the past ten years.
Arjun Ram Meghwal, the Minister of Law and Justice, and Dr. Jitendra Singh, the Minister of Science and Technology, are also expected to assume leadership roles. Dr. Jaishankar further claimed that during the past ten years, Prime Minister Modi had significantly altered people’s lives. Prime Minister Modi, he claimed, had moved India’s economy up from eleventh to fifth place. In the presence of former textile minister Piyush Goyal, Giriraj Singh took over as Union Minister of Textiles today. As the Ministry’s MoS, Pabitra Margherita also assumed leadership. In the meantime, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas appointed Suresh Gopi as Minister of State. Hardeep Singh Puri, the Union Minister of Petroleum and Gas, was also in attendance at the event. Additionally, Bhupendra Yadav became the Environment Minister.
Today marks the inauguration of several Union Ministers, who will serve in the recently established Union Council of Ministers. Ministers Annapurna Devi of Women and Child Development, Jagat Prakash Nadda of Health, Manohar Lal of Power, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat of Culture, Mansukh L. Mandaviya of Sports and Youth Affairs, Kiren Rijiju of Parliamentary Affairs, and C. R. Patil of Jal Shakti will also take office today.
