Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Anurag Thakur criticised Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday following the release of an Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) poster that labelled opposition leaders as “dishonest.” The poster, shared on AAP’s social media, featured Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and other notable BJP and Congress leaders.
The poster highlighted Kejriwal as “honest,” with the tagline, “Kejriwal’s honesty will prevail over all the dishonest people.” Reacting to this, Thakur questioned why Delhi Minister Atishi was excluded from the poster, asking, “Is Atishi considered dishonest? Kejriwal’s omission of women leaders shows his bias. He only promotes himself.”
Thakur further criticised Kejriwal, calling him “Delhi’s biggest dishonest leader” and accusing him of involvement in the liquor scam. He said, “Several of his ministers, MLAs, and MPs have been jailed, yet he shamelessly flaunts his face on posters. The people of Delhi will reject someone who governs with a history of corruption and scandals.”
