The Delhi Police have taken swift action to enhance patrolling in areas adjoining Haryana and Delhi after fresh unrest rocked the capital city on Tuesday night. The violence, which originated in Nuh, Haryana, has now spread to nearby regions, leading to the tragic death of five people.

In response to the escalating situation, several organizations, including Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal, have staged protests in various parts of the capital. Karol Bagh, Patel Nagar, Mayur Vihar, Lajpat Nagar, Mukherjee Nagar, Moti Nagar, Najafgarh, Tilak Nagar, Narela, Nangloi, Ambedkar Nagar, and other areas near the Haryana border have become the epicenters of these demonstrations.

As a result, the Delhi Police have intensified security measures to maintain law and order within the city. The right-wing organization, Vishwa Hindu Parishad, has also organized protests in Noida, further complicating the situation.

Key routes linking Delhi to neighboring Faridabad, as well as Vikas Marg, connecting East Delhi to the central parts of the city, have been blocked by protesters, causing significant disruptions to daily life.

In response to the rapidly evolving situation, a plea has been filed in the Supreme Court to halt these rallies within the Delhi NCR area. Advocate Chander Udhay Singh urgently presented the application before Justice Aniruddha Bose from Live Law.

With intelligence agencies warning of potential violence in Delhi itself, the police have intensified their vigilance, closely monitoring events in neighboring states and areas where dissent is likely. Additional police forces have been deployed to potential trouble spots, with authorities cautiously estimating that the protests will not attract a large number of participants.

As the situation remains tense, Delhi residents are urged to remain vigilant and cooperate with law enforcement to ensure the safety and security of the city. The authorities are actively working to restore calm and prevent any further escalation of the unrest.
