2024 People’s Choice Awards: Barbie, Taylor Swift, and BTS’s Jungkook Triumph as Major Winners!
The title of Action Movie of the Year went to The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes (2006).
The 2024 People’s Choice Awards, which Simu Liu presented, were broadcast live in California on Sunday. Oppenheimer only took home one trophy, in the Drama Movie of the Year category, compared to Greta Gerwig’s six wins for Barbie. At the evening, Taylor Swift took home four prizes, and Billie Eilish took home the TV Performance of the Year trophy for Swarm. BTS member Jungkook triumphed over Bad Bunny, Drake, and Jack Harlow to win Male Artist of the Year. There are now 45 categories, an increase from last year.
