17 Arrested, Including 5 Women, at Rave Party in Andhra Pradesh’s East Godavari District

RAJAHMUNDRY: East Godavari police raided a rave party in Burugupudi village under Korukonda mandal early Monday and arrested 17 individuals, including five women. The operation was conducted at the Naga Sai function hall with assistance from the special party police.
A case was registered under the Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act.
Korukonda Inspector Satya Kishore stated that dealers from various fertiliser companies across the state had gathered for the event. A local sales executive had arranged for five women from Kakinada, Rajahmundry, and Rampa Chodavaram to attend the party.
Following a tip-off, police seized liquor bottles from the venue and detained the participants. The arrested men will be presented in court, while the five women will be sent to a shelter home.
