In a heart-wrenching incident that has left the community in shock, the lifeless body of an 11-year-old boy, identified as Divyansh, was discovered in his family’s residence in West Delhi’s Inder Puri, E Block. His body was discovered stuffed in the bed box of his house, and the boy had nail scratch marks on his neck. The distressing incident came to light when the boy’s mother, Neelu, registered a case at the police station. According to the statement of the officer on duty, the PCR received a call around 8:30 p.m. from BLK Hospital. The sequence of events began when Divyansh’s dance teacher alerted his mother about his absence from the scheduled dance class.
As the mother narrated the incident, she said, “It was around 6:30 and I was returning home from my office and I had received the call from the dance teacher regarding missing the class, I rushed home and saw the door was locked from the outside. I searched for him outside the house in the park, at his friend’s house, and in other places but returned disappointed. After that, I noticed the house looked a little messed up, and found a microwave and stool on the top of the bed, and the mattress looked displaced, then I removed the mattress and looked in the bed box I found my son tangled in clothes.”
The boy’s body was taken to the hospital in an emergency, where he was declared dead. During the investigation, it was revealed that the parents of the boy had not been living together for quite some time. The mother of the boy has accused a close family member named Pooja of the murder. This woman had been threatening the family for the last four years. After checking the CCTV footage of the building, it was noticed that the same woman Pooja entered the residence, further intensifying suspicions surrounding her involvement.
